In the dark, you taste something sweet and tart on your tongue, almost like apple but not quite: pomegranate juice, out of nowhere. A hint of something metallic accompanies it.

It's hard to walk through the grass without stepping on the flowers, and for some reason stepping on them is vaguely upsetting now that you've looked more closely.
As for the woman, she's young and friendly-looking, with short hair and cheerful eyes. She's attempting to cook in a pot over the campfire, humming to herself as she does so. Oddly, she seems to be using a pair of swords to stir the ingredients. She lifts a hand to wave as you approach.
