who stole your heart and the key?

In the dark, you taste something sweet and tart on your tongue, almost like apple but not quite: pomegranate juice, out of nowhere. A hint of something metallic accompanies it.

You fall down.

There's not much to see here aside from the flowers. Upon closer examination, each of them is clearly unique. They're faintly warm, too.

It's hard to walk through the grass without stepping on the flowers, and for some reason stepping on them is vaguely upsetting now that you've looked more closely.

As for the woman, she's young and friendly-looking, with short hair and cheerful eyes. She's attempting to cook in a pot over the campfire, humming to herself as she does so. Oddly, she seems to be using a pair of swords to stir the ingredients. She lifts a hand to wave as you approach.

"I'm cooking, of course. We're going to have a family dinner."

"He...might be a little late." She looks wistful for a moment. "But we'll wait."

She shakes her head. "Probably not. It's all right. You gotta keep going, right?"

She smiles encouragingly. "Yeah. But, hey, take this, okay?" She pulls out one of the swords she's using to stir the pot and holds it out, hilt first. "It'll light your way."

The blade is, in fact, glowing a bit.

"Well, you're dead, right? You don't need food..." She sounds somewhat dubious.

I'm mostly teasing. Though if I find him I could give it to him and remind him what he's trying to be late for?

"That sounds like a good idea." She reaches down by the campfire and picks up a bowl, which she uses to scoop up...

...something from the pot. When she hands it over, it neither looks nor smells appetizing. It is a really disastrous combination of ingredients.
