who stole your heart and the key?
In the dark, you taste something sweet and tart on your tongue, almost like apple but not quite: pomegranate juice, out of nowhere. A hint of something metallic accompanies it.
You fall down.

Re: THE FIELD
The woman is young and friendly-looking, with short hair and cheerful eyes. She's attempting to cook in a pot over the campfire, humming to herself as she does so. Oddly, she seems to be using a pair of swords to stir the ingredients.
She straightens up as she sees the both of you and waves frantically. "S̛̀h̸̨̡̢i̴͏͞ŕ̸̕o͘o̴̵͟o̶͞͏͝҉u̴̧͢͢uuuu!"
Re: THE FIELD
[Nodding to the woman and ignoring the kid's protests as she comes over to set them both by the fire.]
Re: THE FIELD
"Uh," the boy says, looking suspiciously towards the pot.
Re: THE FIELD
[She tugs Shirou down so they're all sitting by the fire.]
What did you make?
Re: THE FIELD
Shirou leans over the pot. "You idiot, we can't eat this! It's terrible! Ugh...I hate wasting food, but we'll have to dump it out and I'll start us a new meal."
Re: THE FIELD
[Then leans over to inspect the food herself. Curious about it.]

Re: THE FIELD
It tastes hideous.
Re: THE FIELD
[She chews thoughtfully.]
I've never tried a dish like this.

Re: THE FIELD
The light from above has acquired a timeless, golden quality, as if you've been sitting here chatting and eating all day and yet the near-twilight of dinner time will go on forever and ever.
Re: THE FIELD
Make a more thrilling dish? I'd like to see you. I felt like I might ascend to another plane of existence from one bite of this one.
