You fall down.

It's easy enough to find the source of the noise--a young, golden-haired man in even more golden armor paces through the aisles, checking in a paranoid fashion on all the books. He's not clanking because of his armor--rather, chains hang from him, with five cracked swords strung through them.

The book is lovely and leatherbound, but if you open it up, all the text inside is gibberish.
