who stole your heart and the key?

In the dark, you taste something sweet and tart on your tongue, almost like apple but not quite: pomegranate juice, out of nowhere. A hint of something metallic accompanies it.

You fall down.

Most of the food is Japanese in origin--a lot of rice, some teriyaki chicken and beef, eggs and various sauces. There are a few items of Chinese food as well, along with some Western foodstuffs. It all looks homemade and delicious.

The foodstuffs feel a little dusty, for some reason. But they're probably still edible.
