[ He's a little taken aback by Archer's impoliteness. "If I've got reason to call on you", huh...that's unlikely.

For the first time since he's gotten here, Shu realizes his own uselessness in this whole mess. Based on that earlier remark about knowing a few languages, Archer seems a whole lot more suited to survival in a strange place than he is. Shu isn't sure if he's a little envious of Archer's possible capabilities or eager to stick with him in case of danger. ]

I-I see. Right. I'll, um...call on you if there's any need to, too. [ As if he'd even have the nerve to do it. Archer just seems in a league all his own. ]
