In the dark, you taste something sweet and tart on your tongue, almost like apple but not quite: pomegranate juice, out of nowhere. A hint of something metallic accompanies it.

You fall down.

"It's a sword. I'm trying to pull it out."

[The name feels pretty foreign on her tongue - saying it makes her hair stand on end a little.

But it's fine. There's nothing else she could think of.]

If you aren't strong enough to remove the sword, why not break the stone?

"No, I'm not her," he says casually. "But I need this sword--break it?"

That doesn't seem to have occurred to him.

There are a multitude of passages branching off from this main tunnel, and it's impossible to make out which one the sound comes from.

As you try to press forward regardless, something seems to lap at your feet.

"Stone is pretty tough. I'm not sure I could do that, but it's worth a shot, I guess."

There's no response from the dragon, and the boy gives her a bit of an odd look before returning to his swordly pursuits.

"I won't stop you," he says, as he keeps tugging at the sword. "Don't waste too much time on it, though, okay? This is my job here."

It's a tarry black mess, oozing faintly around you. There does seem, at least, to be a faint, shallow pathway leading through it...

...but from the deeper ooze surrounding that path, pale things reach for you, arms and legs. Some are slender and some are muscular, but all are lovely and shapely.
